President
Dr. Mark Stephany is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing as a hospitalist for over thirteen years. He is also a Diplomat in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Stephany has been involved with Bitcoin since 2017 and is now physician advisor to Sound HSA and current Board President of The Bitcoin Physicians Network.
Rich Lassiter, MD
Board Member
Dr. Lassiter is board certified in Emergency Medicine and practices in Atlanta Georgia at the same hospital in which he was born. He attended the Medical College of Georgia for Medical School and stayed for Residency. He has been interested in computers and investing since he was young, and found Bitcoin many years ago. When he isn't working on helping advance Bitcoin, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee.
Daniel Ostermayer, MD
Board Member
Daniel Ostermayer, MD has practiced for over a decade as an emergency physician in Houston. With a background in medical informatics and a passion for open source software, he serves as Vice President of the OpenEM Foundation and Head of Software for the widely used emergency medicine knowledge repository, WikEM.org. He continues to publish academic research and educational books.
Joseph Santamaria, MD
Board Member
Dr. Santamaria is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist in Marble Falls, TX, specializing in cataract and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He completed residency training at Brooke Army Medical Center & Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX where he was a proud member of the United States Air Force, serving as the Chief of Comprehensive Ophthalmology. He enjoys running, finance, and all things Bitcoin.
Jon Gordon, MS, MA

Jon is bringing bitcoin and nostr into the healthcare industry as a co-founder of SOUND HSA and NosFabrica. For the past few years, Jon has been helping doctors integrate a bitcoin strategy. He has 10+ years of healthcare experience and a double masters in health economics and policy. Based in Chicago, Jon is a runner and a yogi.

Board Member
Stu Lackey is an experienced healthcare veteran with a background in surgical device sales. He's a co-founder of SOUND HSA and passionate about helping people save bitcoin for their future healthcare needs.
